MEET KATE:

Kate Reilly, R.E.C.E - graduated from the Ontario College of Art (OCADU) in 1995, with a major in Drawing & Painting, and a minor in textiles.

She later received her Honors Degree in Fine Art from the University of Guelph in 1999.

Kate's early career of working with children creatively stemmed from her early employment at the Toronto Public Library for 9 years - where she conducted Saturday morning painting activities, showed films, and assisted Librarians with their puppet shows!

She founded Creativity Greenhouse in 2000, in hopes of creating an environment to nurture the creativity of young artists.

Kate's teaching experience at the Guelph School of Art, Cambridge Libraries & Gallery, Guelph Public Library, and numberous local schools has led to 19 years of experience teaching art.

In 2017 she graduated from Conestoga College with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Kate is First Aid Certified.

KATE's FRIENDS:
Instructors
Emma Martin - is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario in Visual Art and Sociology.  She has been teaching art privately for 19 years, and is currently an occasional teacher for the Upper Grand District School Board.  Emma has displayed her art throughout the Guelph Area and Southern B.C.  She is presently creating art for private commissions working in acrylic, mixed media and photography.

Christina Kingsbury - is a multidisciplinary artist and educator, including with the Trillium Waldorf School in Guelph.  She graduated from York University in 2005 majoring in Visual Arts and Environmental Studies.  She has exhibited throughout Ontario since 1999.  Since 2005, she has facilitated dynamic arts programing in a variety of mediums as an instructor with Creativity Greenhouse, Guelph Contemporary Dance, and Waterside Arts.

Shannon Kingsbury is a gifted musician and dynamic performer who has taught preschool and primary music with JamSchool, Musikgarten of Guelph, Arts Explosion, Creativity Greenhouse, and the Guelph Public Library.  She is a graduate of Sheridan College's Music Theatre program and trained in Early Childhood Music and Orff with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
